SAN DIEGO, CA, February 21, 2022 – PenChecks, Inc., parent company of PenChecks Trust®, a leader in innovative retirement plan distribution solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of Darryl Kuhn as the firm’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Darryl brings more than 20 years of software enterprise leadership experience to the PenChecks team, having held CTO and other senior executive positions for companies in the logistics, e-commerce and highly regulated healthcare industries.
Prior to joining PenChecks, Kuhn held the position of VP of engineering at LettuceBox, a cold-chain logistics platform servicing some of the world’s largest food distribution organizations. Other enterprise-level positions included CTO of AristaMD, a telehealth company that provides access to specialty care consultants while reducing health care costs and improving outcomes; and CTO of Skinit, an on-demand personalization platform licensed by Microsoft, 3M, HP and other Fortune 500 enterprises.
As CTO for PenChecks, he leads the continued development of Amplify, PenChecks’ powerful distributions processing platform, as well as the National Registry of Unclaimed Retirement Benefits (NRURB), and ensures a safe, secure online experience for the company’s clients and their plan participants. He also provides the infrastructure and resources for the engineering team to anticipate and meet the complex and evolving needs of PenChecks clients while guiding the company’s transformation into a leading Fintech company.
