PenChecks, Inc. Hires New Senior Director of Product Management

SAN DIEGO, CA, August 22, 2023 – PenChecks, Inc., parent company of PenChecks Trust®, a recognized leader in outsourced retirement plan distribution solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of Ron Kaplan, Senior Director of Product Management, to the PenChecks management team. His primary responsibilities include product management, leading product teams, driving existing and new product innovation and strategy, and implementing best practices to continue elevating PenChecks’ product portfolio and increase revenue growth. He also plays a key role in implementing processes that improve product performance and customer adoption to new products and services.

Kaplan’s diverse background includes working as Director, Product Management for Jack Henry™, a technology provider ​serving regional financial institutions, and Norman ASA, an information security products company. He was VP, Product Management at EdgeWave, an information security products company. At these companies he led successful products, implemented new processes for managing product lifecycles, created and drove product growth strategies, and built and managed strong product teams.

With decades of leadership in product management and B2B marketing, Kaplan also excels at educating product employees on product lifecycle management – how products and services are developed, implemented, sold, adopted, supported, maintained, and retired. He also teaches how to build strategies and use data analysis to make informed decisions about how to deliver on them.

Kaplan is a graduate of St. John’s College, Santa Fe, NM with a Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts (BLA), and holds an MBA in Marketing from National University, San Diego, CA, where he was awarded membership in the National Honors Society – Management Business Administration – Sigma Beta Delta.
