About

Mark Neilson has 25 years’ experience as a seated CFO for public and large private companies in diverse industries. He founded Accretive of San Diego, LLC, a firm that helps companies achieve cost and expense reductions, and is part owner of the San Diego Franchise unit of Renaissance Exec Forums, an executive peer group organization.

In addition to PenChecks, Mark currently serves on the boards of four non-profit and four for-profit organizations, including Chase Packaging Corporation (a SPAC), and Smoker Craft, which manufactures recreational and fishing boats. He also is a member of Corporate Directors’ Forum in San Diego, which focuses on director education and corporate governance issues.

A 35-year volunteer, fundraiser, and board member for the Big Brothers-Big Sisters agency, Mark is active in church and civic activities, and often speaks at professional financial conferences and meetings.
